The Urban League will be giving away 1,500 free backpacks at the annual Back to School Bash on Saturday August 8, 2015 from 7:00am to 12:30 pm at the Urban League gym, located at 3900 Martin Luther King Avenue. Sponsored by SONIC, the event will also include haircuts, health screenings and children’s activities – all at no cost to attendees.
