The "BROTHER OUTSIDER" documentary will be shown atHoly Temple Baptist Church, 1540 NE 50th Street, OKC,Wednesday, February 24th, at 6:30 pm.This award-winning video chronicles the life and timesof Bayard Rustin, friend and mentor to Dr. Martin LutherKing, Jr. Rustin was a pacifist, Quaker, labor organizer,and conscientious objector to military service. Rustin isacknowledged as "the primary organizer" of the 1963 Marchon Washington at which Dr. King delivered the "I Have ADream" speech. Rustin stood behind Dr. King while he spoke.Oklahoma City's own Lois Felder knew Bayard Rustinpersonally, and will attend the Holy Temple showing toshare reflections and anecdotes about Rustin's astonishingtalents and contributions to America's civil rights and laborrights movements.Co-sponsored by The Peace Housewww.peacehouseok.org
