Spiritually Bold, Inc. will have another performance of their hit stage play “Have It Your Way” on Saturday, August 29th at 7:00 p.m.
The humorous play portrays how modern Christians like their spiritual food served up fast. In fact, they want their prayers answered right now, to listen to feel good music and call themselves holy, seeking instant religion. They want everything but the main thing; the Word of God.
The play is set in the Preacher Burger Café where customers may order Backslider Burgers, Old Time Religion Salad, Prayer Nuggets and more. The play was conceived by local playwright Kathleen Watkins.
The second half of the event features members of the company showcasing some of their other talents. There will be door prizes and refreshments. You may also participate in the drawing for a new HDTV.
The performance will be at Fifth Street Baptist Church, 801 N.E. 5th Street. There is no cover charge.
