June 10th Event Aimed at Recruiting Teachers & Employees for Support Positions
Oklahoma City, OK – Oklahoma City Public School District Transportation Director Scott Lane is hoping to hire much needed bus drivers before school resumes on August 4, 2014.
on Tuesday June 10, 2014 from 2pm-7pm at US Grant High School located at 5016 South Pennsylvania.
OKCPS is looking to hire applicants interested in working with cafeteria staff, maintenance crews, clerical and grounds employees. There are also open teaching positions that need to be filled before the start of school. Interested teachers will have an opportunity to meet with school principals who will also attend the job fair.
The Greater Oklahoma City Chamber, Urban League, South OKC Chamber and others are co-sponsoring the event in an effort to support the District’s plan to employ highly qualified staff members in the classroom and in support areas.
Applicants are asked to dress for success, bring resumes and be prepared for on-site interviews.
