On October 6th, the Douglass PTSA in conjunction Douglass student groups, AVID and Link Crew, will have a College Fair and FASFA Night. Colleges, universities, technical schools, and community organizations will be invited to have displays and to distribute information to students and parents.
The College Fair will be from 1:30 p.m. until 5 p.m.
The FASFA Night will be from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m.
Scholarship information will be available. Parents will be able to complete the FASFA (financial) application. High school seniors from low-income households can get money for college. Last year, more than $2.7 BILLION in financial aid went unclaimed.
To encourage student and parent participation there will be a raffle for $5 gift cards as door prizes.
All OKCPS high school students and their parents are cordially invited to attend.
