Our primary goal and purpose:

1) the identificaton and preservation of all that is RIGHT, positive, most excellent and beneficial to Douglass Middle/High School, its most valued clientele...i.e., Douglass students and other Douglass stakeholders (i.e., parents, teachers, administrators, patrons, community and business partners, volunteers, etc.); and

2)  the identificaton and resolution of that which is CLEARLY UNACCEPTABLE and detrimental to Douglass Middle/High School and its good name; its students, teachers, ministrators, faculty, and staff members; and Douglass parents, patrons, partners and supporters!

We meet monthly to discuss and analyze data; and to generate ideas, recommendations, plans and action items for Board approval and implementation.

We welcome your input and involvement: whether it be actively as a possible DMHS CAB member or volunteer assisting at the school...or as simply a "silent supporter"...do know that we value your positive, constructive and objective input! Just so you know, the DMHS CAB has no hiring or firing authority; and we are not authorized to handle any matters that should be handled by Douglass's hired staff.
