Black Liberated Arts Center (BLAC), Inc. will host its 45th Anniversary Celebration on November 21st at the Embassy Suites Hotel at 6:00 p.m. It promises to be a fun filled evening with pleasant memories, great networking with a dinner and silent auction to top it off! There will be special auction items from Actress Alfre Woodard, lots of gift certificates for meals at great restaurants, a weekend stay at a great hotel and much more. One lucky person will go home with a brand new $100 bill!
Mr. George Wesley, Sr. will be the master storyteller for the historical evening and guests will enjoy superb entertainment throughout the event. An interesting recall of highlights of the 45 years will be presented in music and audio visual presentations. Honorees include Juanita Davis, Forrest Lee, Brenda Dukes, Jeremy Thomas, William Welge, Darius Jackson, Mike McKinney, Donna Cox, Laura Morris and Adam and Kizzie Ledbetter.
According to Executive Director, Anita Arnold, there will be many people in attendance that have been a part of the BLAC, Inc. story. This fundraising event is open to the public.
